Host streams
Run the FrameLink host on the Mac or Windows machine that already shows your monitor feed. It captures that screen or window — multiple cameras if you add them — and broadcasts to every tablet on the same Wi-Fi.
FrameLink streams your monitor to every tablet on set, freezes the frame the director cares about, and lets the crew pinch in for detail or pull a PDF reference up alongside. Replace “you know, kind of behind her shoulder?” with a circle exactly where you mean.
Run the FrameLink host on the Mac or Windows machine that already shows your monitor feed. It captures that screen or window — multiple cameras if you add them — and broadcasts to every tablet on the same Wi-Fi.
The director freezes a frame and draws on it with the pen — strokes only, in the color you assigned at approval. Annotators on the same stream draw alongside. Press and hold Clear All for 1.5 seconds to wipe the frame so nobody loses notes by accident.
Each iPad and Android client picks which camera to watch, pinches or double-taps to zoom in on a detail, and can keep a PDF — sides, lookbook, storyboards — open side-by-side without leaving the live view.
Add as many camera feeds as the host can ingest. Each tablet on set picks which camera to watch — A-cam, B-cam, behind-the-lens — without anyone else losing their view.
Only the Director can freeze a stream — one tap and the frame becomes a canvas everyone can see. Press-and-hold Clear All for 1.5 seconds to wipe the layer; no accidental swipes between takes.
Roles are assigned at approval — Director freezes and draws, Annotator draws, Viewer watches. Pen color is assigned by the Director, so every stroke on set is already attributed.
Tablet crew scan the QR on the host, or type the IP if they prefer. No pairing, no accounts, no VPN — same Wi-Fi is all it takes.
Everything stays on your set network. No footage leaves the room, no internet required during shooting. Works in a tent in the middle of nowhere.
Open a PDF — shot list, lookbook, storyboards — side-by-side with the camera. It stays on that tablet only and is never broadcast to the rest of video village.
Pinch and double-tap to zoom into focus, framing, or a prop on the edge of the plate. The viewport stays smooth, anchors to your fingers, and clamps so you never throw yourself off the frame.
FrameLink lives on set. Built for the crew who are tired of explaining what they’re looking at — and just want to point at it.
Directors
Point at the frame instead of describing it. Freeze, draw, move on.

Flag continuity, VFX clean-plate needs, or matte issues while the camera is still up.
Indie crews
Turn any iPad on the truck into a wireless monitor — no transmitter rental.
