Privacy Policy

FrameLink is designed to be local-first. Your video footage, annotations, and session data never leave your set network. This policy describes the minimal account data we do collect to operate the subscription service.

We collect and store the following:

• Email address — used to identify your account and send transactional emails (magic links, receipts).
• Subscription status — plan, billing period, and payment status, managed via Lemon Squeezy.
• Device identifiers — hostname and platform of activated host machines, to manage device grants.

We do not collect video footage, annotations, session content, or any data that passes between your host and client devices.

We use the data we collect to:

• Verify your subscription and unlock the host application.
• Send account emails (sign-in links, billing receipts).
• Respond to support requests.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We use the following sub-processors:

• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing and subscription management. Their privacy policy applies to payment data.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (magic links, receipts).
• Neon — hosted PostgreSQL database for account and subscription records.

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (email, subscriptions, device grants) is permanently deleted within 30 days. To request deletion, contact us at hello@framelinkhd.com.

Account data is stored in an encrypted database. Authentication uses short-lived magic links — we do not store passwords. Device access tokens are high-entropy random values stored securely.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@framelinkhd.com. We will respond within 30 days.

We may update this policy as our service evolves. We will notify active users by email of any material changes. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance.
